is this a species of desert dragonfly? I wonder about the variations of many species there as the atacama is indeed an enigma in how it is situated right next to the pacific ocean. i seem to associate the dragonfly with water but perhaps they vacation wher it is dry? :)
I am wondering since there is little human population there, are you part of a climate study program? I ask because i am part of a company that does climate research in the other driest desert in the world. one covered in ice and snow instead of sand and endemic flora...
